Russian Hospitality Awards 2017 have received 610 applications from hospitality facilities in 95 locations in Russia.

For comparison’s sake, in 2015 and 2016 we had 420 and 570 hotels, respectively, bidding from 80 cities across Russia.

Over the four years of the project’s life, the number of participants has almost doubled from 320 in 2014. This year’s leaders in terms of the number of applications are, traditionally, St Petersburg, Sochi, Kazan, Kaluga, Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Novgorod and Kaliningrad. It has to be said that the Awards’ geography has been growing year on year.

The two new nominations in 2017 are Best Family Hotel and GM / Manager of the Year, as suggested by participants during earlier contests. The top 25 nominations include Best Mini Hotel (110 contestants), Best MICE Hotel (72), Best 4* Business Hotel (88), Best 3 *Business Hotel (65) and Best Family Hotel (60). The 4th Awards Ceremony at the Lotte Hotel in Moscow on 19 February 2018 will be attended by 130 hotel finalists, owners and general managers of individual and chain hotels, managers of large companies, mass and specialized media, auditors, developers, consultants and many others. Project partners will present services and solutions to the best of class in the hotel business while hoteliers will meet their peers and learn about innovations in their industry.

Consultant of Russian Hospitality Awards 2017 is Cushman & Wakefield, an international company that has participated in developing contest terms and conditions and nominations criteria.
