How the winners were determined: 

Hotel participation in the Awards does not require financial contributions. An application for participation in the Awards may be filed by a Russian hotel that has been working for more than 30 days. The amount of the Awards nominees is not limited. Russian Hospitality Awards comprises assessment of the hotel by jury members as well as consumers’ assessment in international and local online booking systems.

Final and the announcement of the Award winners 

The finalists of the First Russian Hospitality Awards, based on the audit report of the independent Award’s observers, an international company "Deloitte", CIS, became the top 100 hotels of Russia. 

On February 19, 2015 during the First Ceremony of the Russian Hospitality Awards the winners were named - twenty of the best hotels in the country. The Award organizers have also prepared special awards "Opening" and "Hotelier of the Year" in Russia. The Four Seasons Hotel Moscow received the title of the "Opening of the Year" - for the scope of the project, the contribution of the team in the development of a new and unique hotel and hotel development standards of Russia in general. Konstantin Goryainov, General Manager of the Marriott Moscow Royal Aurora hotel, was awarded by the title of the "Hotelier of the Year" - for his harmonious combination of management and leadership qualities, for his commitment to employees and the professional community. Special awards "Opening" and "Hotelier of the Year" were create by the Award organizers. These nominations were not evaluated by the special standards of assessment system and choosing the winners was based of the opinion of the authoritative experts of the hospitality industry. 

The event brought together more than 350 leaders of the hospitality industry in Russia. The event was visited by authoritative representatives of the industry: general managers of the largest hotel chains and the best unique hotels of Russia, representatives of the government in the tourism sphere, the top management of the leading real estate companies. 

The Award was supported by the partners - leading suppliers of goods and services in the hospitality industry.
