February 18, 2016 Lotte Hotel Moscow hosted the Second Annual Russian Hospitality Awards Ceremony. The project's goal is in making the Russian hospitality sector more attractive to customers through improving competition between hotels on the domestic and the international markets, forming Russia's favorable image on the international tourist market, which is even more important today, when preparations for the Soccer World Cup are going full swing.
The main event in the hospitality industry was traditionally held in a Black Tie format, with business owners, hotel managers, leading global experts in hospitality, as well as the representatives of the largest industrial, business and lifestyle media participating.
Awards for Russia's best hotel 2015 were given in 23 nominations:
1. Best Sport Hotel - «Sport Inn» hotel 4*, Sochi;
2. The year's Best Marketing Campaign – Swissotel Krasnye Holmy, Moscow;
3. Best Historical Hotel – Rocco Forte Astoria Hotel, Saint Petersburg;
4. Best Mini-Hotel – Mercure Moscow Baumanskaya;
5. Best Ethnic Hotel – Jeval, Evpatorya, Crimea;
6. Best Design Hotel - Barvikha Hotel & Spa, Barvikha, Moscow;
7. Best MICE Hotel - Corinthia Hotel St. Petersburg, Saint Petersburg;
8. Best Business Hotel 5* – Hyatt Regency Sochi, Sochi;
9. Best Business Hotel 4* – DoubleTree by Hilton Moscow – Marina;
10. Best Business Hotel 3* – Hampton by Hilton Volgograd Profsoyuznaya;
11. Best Apart Hotel - StayBridge Suits, Saint Petersburg;
12. Best Ski Resort and Hotel - Rixos Krasnaya Polyana Sochi 5*;
13. Best Luxury Hotel - Lotte Hotel Moscow;
14. Best Eco-Hotel - “Krymsky Breeze Residence”, Yalta, Crimea;
15. Developer of the Year– Amtel Properties (with Hampton by Hilton Moscow Strogino);
16. Best Economy Hotel - Hotel ibis Moscow Dynamo;
17. Best Boutique Hotel - RODINA Grand Hotel & SPA, Sochi
18. Best SPA Hotel – Luciano Spa, Kazan;
19. Best Medical Hotel – Altay Resort, Urlu-Aspak, Altay;
20. Best Country Hotel – Hilton Garden Inn Moscow New Riga;
21. Best Resort Hotel – Rodina Grand Hotel & SPA, Sochi;
22. Best Hotel Restaurant - Pullman Sochi Center;
23. Opening of the Year – Hilton Garden Inn Ufa Riverside, Ufa, Bashkortostan.
This year, 437 hotels from all over Russia ran the competition. The organizers take pride in the fact that every year a larger number of hotel industry objects join the Russian Hospitality Awards, which says a lot of the participants' competition strength on the domestic market, their trust to the organizers of the Awards, as well as the development of a unique platform for the industry's key persons' cooperation and communication.
A Jury assessed the Nominees, taking into account their rating in international and online booking systems. Thus, each hotel's estimate depended on the expert opinions of the Jury – as well as the impressions of the guests. The Russian Hospitality Awards 2015 Jury were:

Standing on the stage, the members of the Jury repeatedly thanked the founder, Andryus Malinauskas and the entire Awards' team for their high professionalism and continuous strive for perfection with Russian Hospitality Awards.
Deloitte, CIS, acted as the independent Auditor and Supervisor for Russian Hospitality Awards 2015 to ensure a high level of trust to the competition's results.
This year, the Winners received awards designed by Lasvit in collaboration with Ebony&Co. Lasvit is a Czech brand that has been creating glass work, art objects and light installations for many years. Exclusive Bohemian glass was blown manually at the Czech Lasvit plant. It forms an unmatched combination with Ebony&Co's massive wooden planks from the real 18-19-th centuries North American depots. Khokhloma, which is on UNESCO's non-material cultural heritage list, is also one of the Award's signature elements.
Russian Hospitality Awards is a unique quality sign marking Russia's best hotels. Together with the Award, the winners were given flower bouquets from the Ceremony's floral partner, “Zelenaya Symphoniya”.
