Association of Small Hotels of Sochi
Despite serious competition in the struggle for guests among Sochi hotels, all accommodation facilities have many common issues. For instance, the increase in the professionalism of employees and managers at all levels, the defense of interests of the industry, the interaction with public authorities, the development of new standards of relationships between owners and top-managers, etc.
Association of Small Hotels of Sochi deals with all these issues. The Association was created by a group of like-minded people in 2016 and registered in 2017 as a legal entity.
Valentina grew up in the hotel industry from the reservation manager to the sales director at such famous hotels as Yalta Intourist 4 * and Villa Elena 5 *, and she is still improving. After getting a higher specialized education she passed the refresher course "Organization and management program in hotel activities" in Sochi State University (2016-2017). Furthermore, became one of the first certified experts on the issues of independent assessment of qualifications in hospitality industry in the South of Russia (she completed the corresponding course of the St. Petersburg State University of Economics).
Currently, in addition to active social activities, Valentina conducts a number of consulting projects in the hotel industry aimed at improving business efficiency, increasing the company's revenues, and improving the quality of services provided.
She constantly organizes and coordinates round tables on tourism and commercial events on hospitality in Sochi and other cities and regions (Krasnodar, Rostov, Kislovodsk, Yalta).
Valentina is the author of a series of publications on the topic of service and customer-orientation. Among the recent are the publication in the magazine "Modern Hotel" (article "Small Hotels: "kids"or serious market players?") and the publication on the portal Executive.ru (article " Revizorro visited us: how to make an effective instrument out of an audition?").
Future plans include holding an all-Russian forum that will bring together all the operating Associations of Hoteliers of Russia.
