Maria has graduated from Moscow Architectural University (MARKHI), the postgraduate study of educational buildings (TNIEEP) and Deutsche Angestellten Akademie (DAA).

As an architect with extensive international experience in designing hotels Maria runs the bureau Sonne-Frederiksen & Partners, MSF DESIGN, Hannover, Germany, and ART4ALL, Moscow, Russia. Bureau MSF DESIGN, founded 23 years ago in Germany, specializes in designing the interior of modern hotels and business complexes.

MSF DESIGN offers its services in design and consulting, particularly in the design of hotel buildings, in the development of architectural and planning concepts and provides assistance to investors in the creation of pre-project documentation and in the search for an international operator.

The Bureau prepares construction guides and property manuals for hotels, which are necessary to determine the characteristic profile and requirements for the hotel building. Also the Bureau performs all stages of the design project, including architectural supervision and decoration.

Under the vigilant leadership of Maria a number of ideas have been successfully implemented. Here are some of her completed projects: an optimization project and a hotel interior design project for the Holiday Inn brand for 580 places in St. Petersburg; a design project for interiors of public areas of the CY Marriott Hotel in St. Petersburg; project design of the interiors of the hotel "CY Marriott" (Paveletskaya); project of interior design of the hotel for 200 seats "Park inn" in Lipetsk; the project of optimization and the design of interiors of hotel "Hilton Garden Inn" for 200 places in Volgograd, the project of design of interiors of hotel on 350 places "SHERATON" (Sheremetyevo Airport, Moscow).

In addition, Maria is an initiator and curator of the international project HOTEL HOUSE HOME. HHH deals with issues related to the construction and operation of hotels, student dormitories and specialized real estate for the elderly and disabled people.
